We consider real and authentic profile data one of the most important things that Tester Work requires from a tester and not without a reason. The quality of the delivered test results can depend on many aspects, but most and foremost on the environment, the test was conducted in.
All the tests that were performed using a different device or from a different location than the requirement set by the test manager become invalid, thus jeopardizing the relationship both with our partners and the tester.
Whilst we strongly believe that the collaboration with our crowd has to be based on trust, we also have to take measures to avoid misleading and deliberately faked location or profile information. Our team verifies the location of the new testers on the platform and of all the testers who register for a localized test cycle.
💡 According to the above, we kindly ask all of our testers to:
- update your profile country in a way that it reflects your real location
- always use a local network while testing
- do not use a commercial server / Proxy
- do not use a VPN connection while testing a project, unless otherwise instructed
- contact us on Zendesk if you are traveling
- avoid having multiple accounts with different profile countries
- decline test invitations for other countries than your current location
Please be aware that every location fraud attempt results in permanent account suspension.
